| New fittings for the Boomkicker |
Full Moon has had a Boomkicker (sort of a solid vang that holds up the boom) for decades. Unfortunately, the fitting on the boom parted ways and took a swim a few weeks ago. The replacement parts are beefier and the attachment points are spread much farther apart. This is a good thing as the boom material is fairly thin so everything is held on with rivets instead of bolts. Anyway, Full Moon is now ready for a sail any time!
